Description

Career education training programs are short-term and industry-specific, designed to graduate students with industry-specific credentials and enter a career pathway that results in wage advancement. All students (aside from HVAC and Solar training) begin their career pathway in Workplace Essentials, a short training course designed to incorporate interpersonal, financial, and technical skill basics into one compact course that sets the pace for advanced learning. Industry-recognized credentials are incorporated into most of the Career Education Training Programs that include not only the preparation for the credential exam, but the exam itself. Articulation agreements are also incorporated into specific trainings, allowing individuals to have their classroom hours transfer into credits once enrolled in a partner MnSCU school. Currently Career Education offers the following programs: - Computer Technician/IT Support Career Training - Healthcare Technician/Medical Office Support Career Training - Office Support Specialist Career Training - Telecommunications Installation & Support Career Training - HVAC Training - Solar PV (Photovoltaic) Installation Training
