Holiday Adoption Programs Programs that provide 'Adopt-A-Family' services which match people who want to provide personalized holiday assistance (usually gifts or a food basket) with an older adult, individual with a disability, or low-income family who are unable to celebrate and enjoy the holiday without the sponsor's generosity. Holiday Gifts/Toys Programs that provide gifts such as clothing, toys, and other items to help low-income individuals and families, older adults, and others who celebrate the holiday. Provide a piece of mail with proof of current address such as utility bill, paycheck stub, or bank account statement listing current address and name of person registering. Must be dated within the last 60 days. Distribution: Dates for pickup will be provided once approved after registration Description: Connects people in need to those willing to provide support during the holidays. Low-income families with children are matched with sponsors who provide gifts, gift cards to purchase gifts, and grocery gift cards based on the household size.
