Youth 13 - 17 may qualify for a reduced fare card through schools and employers. - Reduced fare, $1, for persons with disabilities (those unable to qualify for Minnesota drivers license because of physical or mental disability) all day, everyday including weekends and holidays. Certified identification is required - Medicare card (valid during non-rush hours only), Metro Mobility card, Metro Transit temporary ID card or Minnesota driver's license/state ID with an "L" or "A" endorsement. Disabled veterans with a service connected disability must show a Veterans Identification Card (VIC) issued by a VA Medical Center with the words "Service Connected" or the initials "SC" below the photo. These cards are available at the VA Medical Centers in Minneapolis or St. Cloud.
