  • No Fee
Health education provided in community settings such as schools and businesses or in the home:
  • Breastfeeding Support: Offers families education on breastfeeding basics, support and community resources
  • Car Seats Checks: Has a variety of car seats available free of charge for community members that cannot afford to purchase one. A certified car seat technician is also available to help install a new car seat, or make sure a current seat is properly installed.
  • Office of Aging: Created to help the county prepare for an aging "Baby Boomer" population. Provides support and coordination of various aging initiatives, including Community Senior Commissions, CarFit, medicine take-back and TRIAD.
  • Public Health Nuisance Investigation: Inspects and follows up on reported public health nuisances and other conditions, which may be a threat to the public's health and safety, including emergency responders
