Independent living apartments provide:

24/7 reception, Mayo Clinic security, emergency response system

Bus transportation - regularly scheduled to grocery stores, Mayo Clinic and other businesses

Maintenance of appliances, heating/air, plumbing

Some apartments are equipped with washers and dryers, otherwise a laundry room is on every floor

Weekly housekeeping

Wi-Fi and TV cable

Option to purchase meals and additional services. Assisted living and skilled nursing care available to residents of independent living as part of the continuing care retirement community.
