Certain non-citizens who are considered refugees, and who have been in Becker County 8 months or less who meet income, household makeup, and circumstantial eligibility requirements

Program Fees

  • No Fee
Providing health care coverage for the first eight months for certain newly arrived refugees who are not otherwise eligible for Medical Assistance (MA). Refugees are also available for MA through this program. Refugees receiving Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) are automatically eligible for RMA if they are not already MA eligible. NOTE: Refugees who are eligible for Medical Assistance are served through that program. Refugees receiving Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) are automatically eligible for RMA if they are not already MA eligible.
