Food Shelf - Second Harvest Northland
Provides fresh and non-perishable food to residents of northeastern Minnesota. Drive-through program, low-contact, low-barrier program. Products vary but may receive shelf-stable, fresh or frozen protein, grains, fruits, vegetables, and dairy. Items like cereal, pasta, brown or white rice; protein like beef, chicken, tuna or peanut butter; dairy like milk or cheese; fruits, vegetables and more. Individuals have the ability to refuse any items that they do not want or to ask for extra items. Accepts food donations that are unopened, in their original packaging and are within optimal freshness and quality date ranges. Unable to accept home canned products or meat which has not been processed through a USDA inspected facility.
