Home Improvement Rehabilitation - Douglas County Housing and Redevelopment Authority

Programs that help qualified households afford basic improvements to the safety, livability, energy efficiency, and accessibility of the home as well as assist when an emergency is identified that threatens the household's health and safety. Project costs must be a minimum of $1,000.00 to qualify for assistance. All loans are deferred loans with no interest and no payments during the life of the loan. The loan is forgiven when the term is reached provided the individual occupies and owns the property during the entire loan term. These programs include: - Emergency & Accessibility Loan Program (ELP) - Community Block Development Grant (CBDG) - Rehabilitation Loan Program (RLP) - Rural Development Housing Preservation Grant Program (RDHPG)
