Minnesota Supplemental Aid - MSA - Chisago County Financial Assistance Department

Provides a monthly cash grant to people who are aged, blind or disabled and who receive federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Some people whose income is too high to receive SSI may be eligible for MSA. NOTE: Most of these people also receive or are eligible to receive EMSA, SSI, and/or RSDI. Applications for SSI/RSDI are handled through the local Social Security office. People may be eligible for the Medicare Savings Programs and/or Medical Assistance.
