Provides resources for education, information, support, and advocacy such as: - Camp Programs: Offers day and family camps for children to connect with others, build friendships, make memories, and experience camp in a safe and inclusive environment - Care Coordination: One-on-one support and access to necessary resources to meet the individual and family needs. This support helps individuals navigate various resources and systems. - Connect Groups: Offers safe and welcoming spaces for individuals living with epilepsy to meet others who have been there, share their story, and find community. Also, offers various social events. - Personalized Support: Community health workers offer personalized and confidential support at no cost. Support is offered in English and Spanish and will partner with interpreters through regular check-ins by phone, video chat, or in person based on preference. Services provided include consultation to explore options, solutions, managing diagnosis, navigating systems, learning about treatment options, information about epilepsy, and resource requests. - Resource Library: Online information about epilepsy, recognizing symptoms, toolkits, safety tips, treatment options, and education. Offers wellness webinars to offer practical guidance and connection for people living with epilepsy and their families. - Shining Stars Group: Families with children ages 17 and under can apply to be a shining star. Shining Stars receive special invitations to events throughout the year, opportunities to raise awareness, and a chance to be part of something bigger.
