Home Repair and Safe at Home - Rebuilding Together Minnesota

Home Repair Program: Provides volunteer-delivered repairs including weatherizing, cleaning, installing flooring, patching and painting, siding, and landscaping, and timely contractor-delivered repair or replacement of essential systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, outer envelope, and roofs that are critical to healthy, livable homes. Safe at Home Program: Provides minor home safety and accessibility modifications at no cost to homeowners in need. Repair services will allow homeowners to remain independent and live safely in their homes for a longer period of time. Types of repairs may include grab bars, handrails, wheelchair ramps, and shower seats.

Eligibility

- Must be low income (at or below 50% of median income) and must own the home. Serves Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott and Washington counties. - Home Repair Program: Someone in the home must be 55 years or older, living with a disability, be an active or retired member of the armed services and/or a child under the age of 18. - Safe at Home Program: Someone in the home must be 55 years or older and/or living with a disability.
