Minnesota Supplemental Aid - MSA - Saint Louis County Public Health and Human Services

Provides a monthly cash grant to people who are aged, blind or disabled and who receive federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Some persons whose income is too high to receive SSI may be eligible for MSA. NOTE: Most of these persons also receive or are eligible to receive SSI, and/or RSDI. Applications for SSI/RSDI are handled through the local Social Security office, not Saint Louis County. Persons may be eligible for the Medicare Savings Programs.

Eligibility

Residents of Saint Louis County who are eligible for SSI, are 65 years and older who are blind or have severe vision impairment, or are 18 - 65 years old living with a disability
