Accelerated Resolution Therapy
ART is officially recognized as an evidence-based treatment for psychological trauma and depression by the SAMHSA National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (NREPP).
ART works to reprogram the way in which distressing images and memories are stored in the brain so that they no longer trigger strong physical and emotional reactions.
ART uses visualization techniques and attention on how the body is affected by distressing images or memories, enhanced through use of rapid eye movement (REM) similar to eye movements during dreaming.
SAF-T Training
SAF-T is a revolutionary way to help people relax their bodies and focus on alleviating negative sensations to produce a calming effect. It is a protocol for those whose objective is to move or eliminate negative sensations in the body associated with anxiety, physical discomfort, pain, and stress.
This training is available for professionals and practitioners, but is also appropriate for parents, teachers, paraprofessionals, coaches, day care providers, emergency service personnel, medical and dental staff, and anyone who regularly comes in contact with those experiencing emotional distress.
