Provides compassionate grief support services for children, teens, and adults who are grieving the death of a loved one. Services are designed to ensure that no one has to grieve alone and include:
- Adult Support Groups: Peer-based grief support groups for adults experiencing the loss of a spouse or partner, child, parent, sibling, family member, or friend. Specialized groups, including suicide loss support, are offered as available. Hybrid options are available.
- Children's and Family Grief Support: Age-appropriate grief support programming, activities, and resources to help children and families navigate grief together.
- Community Education: Grief education and presentations for schools, healthcare organizations, businesses, faith communities, and other community groups.
- Grief Companioning: Grief companions provide a space for individuals to share their feelings in response to their profound loss. Companioning is anchored in respecting and exploring the uniqueness of loss while allowing individuals to share their grief and its impact on them.
- Grief Resource Library: Lending library with books and resources for children, teens, and adults experiencing many types of loss.
- Horses Healing Hearts: Provides a grief equine-assisted grief support that allows participants to process grief through guided activities with horses. No riding is involved.
- Workshops and Healing Events: Educational and wellness programs can include journaling, art, yoga, sound bowls, mindfulness, Healing Touch, healthcare directive education, and other grief-related topics.
