New refugees who currently live in Cottonwood, Jackson, Kandiyohi, Lincoln, Lyon, McLeod, Meeker, Redwood, and Renville counties

Helps new refugees get settled in a new city. Refugee resettlement services include:
  • Airport pick-up
  • Application assistance for Social Security, SNAP, and other resources
  • Connecting adults to English as a second language class
  • Cultural orientation
  • Enrolling children in school
  • Housing search
  • Providing basic household items
  • Other services appropriate for the individual
