Household either owns or is purchasing an owner-occupied home in Renville County and has a qualifying income. Properties financed with Contract for Deeds and Mobile Homes do not qualify for financing. Real estate taxes must be up to date. Must have homeowners insurance.

Loans are available for down payment and closing cost assistance for first time home buyers or for home improvement financing for current homeowners. - Down payment loans are deferred. - Home improvement loans are repayable at 0% interest over 5 years. - Maximum loan is $6,000. - Loans are a $1 for $1 match of other investment in the project. Some deferred home improvement loans are available to low income households with children or with a family member with a disability.
