Persons wishing to file a formal complaint can submit it through the online portal https://mnojp.i-sight.com/portal or can submit a complaint form that can either be downloaded from the OJP website or can be mailed upon request via phone or email.

Crime Victim Justice Unit: - Advises crime victims of their rights and monitors the enforcement of those rights - Assists victims who believe they have been treated unfairly in the criminal justice system - Provides information about available financial resources, including the Emergency Fund, the Auto Theft Impound Fund, and the Reimbursement Program - Provides information about the investigation and prosecution process - Provides victims with information and referral to local victim advocates and services - Provides written materials on crime victim rights and issues Victim Information and Notification Everyday - VINE: - Automated telephone notification system providing crime victims with an offender's custody status and location, criminal charge information, sentence expiration date, and referral information for law enforcement and victim services provider organizations. Service is available 24 hours a day. ?- Automated information and notification system that notifies registered users upon a change in an offender's status. Victims can be notified by automated phone message, email, or text message. ?
