Description

Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS) is the program designed to enhance monthly groceries and include healthy and nutritious food products each month at no cost to eligible individuals over the age of 60. NAPS participants receive a monthly food package containing the following items: - Canned fruits (in water or juice) - Vegetables (low sodium or no salt added) - Nonfat dry and shelf stable low-fat milk, dry milk, and locally made American cheese - Canned meat, chicken or fish and peanut butter or dry beans - Cereal, rice and bottled juice
