- May provide referrals for - School supplies - Winter clothing items - Personal hygiene items - Clothing or shoes - Extra assistance during the Christmas Season - Issues with rent, heat, water, electricity - Family emergencies (divorce, domestic violence, death, behavioral issues, loss of job, etc) - Helps to coordinate the weekend meal/snack backpack program for children/families experiencing food scarcity - Partners with Fernbrook to provide mental health treatment to students who qualify by reducing barriers to treatment including: - Transportation - Financial restrictions - Waiting lists - Scheduling conflicts
