- Cohasset Transfer Station (218)328-5801 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Saturday Closed Sundays and Holidays - Itasca County Outlying Transfer Stations Summer Hours (April 15 - Sept. 14) 8:30 am - 5:30 pm Thursday - Monday Closed Tuesday and Wednesday - Winter Hours (Sept. 15 - April 14) 8:30 am - 4 pm Friday, Saturday and Monday ONLY Spring Lake and Bray Lake open Sundays through deer season - Acceptable Waste and rates: Household garbage:$2.00 per 33 gallon bag or equivalent Itasca County Demo Landfill, Spring Lake and Bray Lake: - Demolition $9 per cubic yard - Appliances and scrap metal $4 per item or equivalent - Tires 15" and under $2 - Tires 16" and over $7 - All sites accept properly prepared recyclables Canister Sites: - Accept Household garbage and recyclables only - Deer River - Long Lake - Iron Range - Sunrise - Squaw Lake - Suomi - Goodland - Sago - Bigfork - Bass Lake - Bray Lake - Spring Lake Demolition: - Concrete brick - Bituminous concrete - Untreated wood - Masonry - Glass - Trees - Rock - Plastic building parts only
