Housing Provision for Disabled Veterans - Homes for Our Troops

Coordinates professional labor, raises money, and donates specifically adapted custom homes to severely injured post 9/11 veterans and their immediate families to enable them to rebuild their lives. Homes are ADA compliant, providing full accessibility and special adaptions. The home is provided at no cost.

Eligibility

Severely injured post 9/11 veterans and their immediate families, including: - Retired or in the process of medical retirement from military service - Received letter of eligibility for the VA Specially Adapted Housing (SAH) grant program - Can accept the responsibility of homeownership and have the resources to maintain a home. (ie. ongoing maintenance and upkeep, property taxes, home insurance, utilities, etc.)
