Early Intervention Family Services - Central Minnesota Mental Health Center - CMMHC

Provides services that support healthy parent-child attachment and development to prevent emotional, behavioral, and psychological problems for children under age 6 and their caregivers. Interventions can help with scary or painful events, loss, separations, medical procedures, abuse, and violence at home or in the community, helping families recover and heal after stressful or traumatic events. Interventions are respectful of family and cultural values. Early Intervention Family Services (EIFS) assessments result in access to early mental health services. It supports early education evaluation, intervention, and referral for possible Occupational, Physical, and Speech and Language assessments and Therapy intervention to help a child's development.
