Description

Administers federally funded rental assistance programs for all of Blue Earth County through the following programs: - Housing Choice Voucher - Housing Stability Voucher - Mainstream Voucher - Emergency Housing Voucher - Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing - Project-Based Voucher - Family Unification Voucher Programs Participants receive a voucher that can be used to rent a unit in the private rental market. Program participants pay about 30% of their income toward their rent and utilities. Before assistance is paid, the unit is inspected to ensure it is safe, decent, and sanitary.

Participants have the opportunity to participate in the Family Self-Sufficiency and Homeownership programs.
