Youth Opportunities - Emerge Community Development

A comprehensive employment and training programs for youth providing assessment, job search/career exploration, employment counseling, job development, job placements, remedial education referrals and support (GED), MFIP services, and case management services. Youth Career Services: Workshops offering how to prepare for college, career decision making and exploration, career readiness training, paid internships, post-secondary support, and improving technology understanding. Summer and school-year programs available. North 4: Provides pathways to success for gang/clique involved adolescents and young adult men residing in four north Minneapolis neighborhoods. Services include leadership, life skills, and work-readiness training, one-on-one job coaching and on-going individual support. Participants are encouraged to participate, plan, and lead community engagement activities/events and retreat-style activities.
