Services provided:
- Responsible for maintaining approximately 1,800 miles of roadway, including contracted township roads and 140 bridges.
- Directly or indirectly involved with the maintenance of roadways under the jurisdiction of 15 cities, 42 organized townships and the 37 unorganized townships in the county.
- Responsible for the administration of both the highway maintenance division and the highway construction division.
- Responsible for graveling, grading, drainage, signing, snow removal, ice control, equipment repair and minor road improvements.
- Responsible for the design and construction administration of all contracted road and bridge improvement projects.
