- Emergency management: The Emergency Management division coordinates various emergency and non-emergency trainings, disaster exercises, and administrative functions needed with a county-wide emergency management system. - Jail: This division is responsible for the incarceration of Wright County prisoners for up to one year, as licensed by the Minnesota Department of Corrections. - Sheriff: Provides law enforcement services to the unincorporated areas of the county and additionally provides contract law enforcement services for 13 cities. There are five divisions within the Sheriff's Office: Operations, Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Business Administration, and Corrections (Jail). - Special permits: The Wright County Sheriff's Office issues permits for various activities or events.
