Parent Support Outreach Program - PSOP - Todd County Human Services
The program is a voluntary, early intervention program that focuses on a family's strengths and needs through support systems. Once enrolled in the Parent Support Outreach Program, help is provided to at-risk families to avoid future incidents of child maltreatment and to enhance child and family well-being, including: - Comprehensive assessments, early intervention, in-home parenting education, outreach, and supportive and therapeutic services - Connect families with county and community-based services - Family circle meetings and support - Limited financial assistance for families to meet basic needs

Families who are residents of Todd County, with at least one child ages 10 and younger, pregnant women, and are exposed to two or more child maltreatment risk factors such as: - Poverty - Domestic Violence - Alcohol and drug problems - Mental health concerns - History of child protection involvement - Homelessness - Must not be involved with child protective services
