Women, Infants and Children - WIC - Anoka County Public Health and Environmental Services

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a nutrition program that assists pregnant individuals, new mothers, infants, and young children to eat well, learn about nutrition, and stay healthy. Many working and low-income families are eligible for WIC's benefits. The WIC Program provides: - Breastfeeding advice and support - Nutrition assessment and feeding tips - Referrals to health and social services - Vouchers for healthy foods (for example, milk, fresh fruits, vegetables and eggs)

Eligibility

Residents of Anoka County who are pregnant, breast feeding and postpartum women, infants, and children up to the age of 5 with an income level less than or equal to 185% of the poverty level or eligible for Medical Assistance, SNAP or MFIP, and a documented nutritional risk
