Description

Provides support and resources to youth experiencing homelessness in the Mankato area through The REACH Youth Resource Center. Services Offered: Basic Necessities: - Access to computers, laptops, and Wi-Fi - Clothing and grocery vouchers - Meals, showers, and toiletries - Transportation assistance Housing and Shelter Options: - Connections to public housing programs - Coordinated entry assessments for homeless youth - Crisis nursery program - Emergency shelter and street outreach services - Independent living, housing assistance, and short-term housing options Support and Education: - Access to licensed therapists - Community and volunteer service opportunities - Financial assistance - Ongoing case management- Rental education through RentWise Preparation for Employment and Independent Living: - Assistance with taxes and obtaining legal documents (birth certificates, social security cards, driver's licenses) - Budgeting and financial planning - College preparation and FAFSA completion - Job searching, resume writing, and interview skills - Nutrition and cooking support Recreational Activities: - Art projects, field trips, movie days, and other social activities
