Adult Parent Education - FamilyWise Services

Adult parenting education is a strength-based program designed to assist families in using the resources available to them to improve their parenting skills, develop connections to the community, and create a safe, nurturing environment for their family. The parent coaching component is designed to: - Decrease problematic behaviors observed - Enhance parent-child relationships - Improve parenting skills - Reduce risk for child abuse

​ ​During parent coaching, the parent and child have an opportunity to interact, and parents are given written and verbal feedback including strengths and areas for improvement.
