Provides methadone maintenance services to opiate-addicted clients and individuals struggling with alcohol dependence by: - Assisting clients in discontinuing illicit drug use and associated criminality - Encouraging positive changes to improve client health, independence and productivity - Providing antabuse on a regular monitored basis - Providing counseling and support sessions, to persons who wish sobriety but have had difficulty achieving it through more traditional means Services can be provided through an outpatient treatment program or as an office-based clinic program depending on need.
