Offers acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services to help adolescents and adults regain independence following traumatic injuries or disabling conditions. The center offers intensive, interdisciplinary therapy to help patients reintegrate into their communities. Conditions Treated: Neurological:
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Neuropathy/myopathy
  • Spinal cord injuries (incomplete and complete at or below cervical level 7)
  • Stroke (ischemic, hemorrhagic, aneurysm)
  • Traumatic and non-traumatic brain injuries (e.g., anoxic or metabolic encephalopathy, brain cancer, carbon monoxide poisoning)
Musculoskeletal:
  • Amputation
  • Arthroplasty with complicating conditions
  • Burns
  • Connective tissue disorders
  • Multiple trauma
Other Conditions:
  • Brain cancer
  • Carbon monoxide poisoning
  • Cardiopulmonary or metabolic conditions
  • Metabolic encephalopathy- Other diffuse brain pathology
