Provides training on topics related to deaf/blindness and working with deafblind consumers, such as: - Best practices for working with deafblind consumers - Communication with deafblind individuals; low vision, tactile and pro-tactile modes - Consultation for agencies, organizations or families regarding deaf/blindness, service provision, and supports for deafblind individuals and families of deaf/blind children - Deaf/Blindness awareness and sensitivity - Deaf/Blind culture - Human guide skills - Interpreting for deafblind individuals - Intervenor Service Provider skills - Vision and hearing loss with seniors - Services and supports to families with deafblind children - Support Service Provider (SSP) skills - What is deafblindness (combined vision and hearing loss)?
