- Conducts surveillance, investigates, monitors, and puts prevention interventions in place for communicable diseases. - Educates the public, individuals, families, day care providers, schools, businesses, and other groups about preventing the spread of communicable diseases such as Pertussis, Influenza, West Nile Virus, Tuberculosis, Meningitis, and others.
