Grants are not for basic living expenses such as rent, mortgages, utility payments, or food. Help with costs such as:
  • Child care
  • Home care
  • Lymphedema supplies (breast cancer only)
  • Pain medication
  • Transportation to and from cancer treatment
CancerCare Co-Payment Assistance Foundation: Helps people afford insurance co-payments to cover the cost of chemotherapy and cancer medications. Cancer Financial Assistance Coalition (CFAC): CFAC is a group of organizations that offers financial help and resources. The coalition aims to educate patients and providers about existing resources through an online database. See www.cancerfac.org.
