Caring Companion Program - Tri-Valley Opportunity Council

Community based service based on the principle that in-home care can help prevent premature nursing home placement. Caring Companions are adults 50 and older who assist seniors to achieve this goal. They can help with grocery shopping, letter writing, and transportation to medical appointments and are there to be a friend.

Volunteers and seniors age 50 or older; serves Becker, Clay, Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Mahnomen, Marshall, Norman, Pennington, Polk, Red Lake, and Roseau counties Volunteers should have reliable transportation or be willing to ride the bus and pass required background checks
