  • Walk In
Provides city services, including:
  • Building permits and inspections
  • - Elections: Administers city, county, state, and federal elections for residents who live within City limits and provides information regarding absentee voting, in-person voting, and early voting.
  • - Planning commission: Reviews development plans and advises the City Council on site plan review, platting and subdivisions, conditional use permits, variances, and other planning and zoning related items.
  • Public Works: Is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the community's infrastructure. Public Works duties include, but are not limited to:
  • - Water & Sewer- Maintenance of the City's water production, distribution, sanitary sewer collection, and stormwater systems; water meter reading and repairs when needed, fire hydrants, and utility locates.
Streets - Repairs, preventative maintenance, snow plowing, roadside trimming to prevent sightline obstruction, street sweeping, street signage, street and signal light maintenance. Parks - Maintenance of the City's public open spaces including parks and cemeteries, City trails and sidewalks. Forestry - Answering resident questions about trees, and managing growth of trees and brush in City parks and public property. Compost - Maintaining the City's compost facility.
