City Services - Annandale City Offices

Provides city services including: - Building permits and inspections - - Elections: Administers city, county, state, and federal elections for residents who live within City limits and provides information regarding absentee voting, in-person voting, and early voting. - - Mayor and City Council Members: Member contact information - - Planning commission: Reviews development plans and advises the City Council on site plan review, platting and subdivisions, conditional use permits, variances, and other planning and zoning related items. - Public Works: Is responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the community's infrastructure. Public Works duties include, but are not limited to: - - Water & Sewer- Maintenance of the City's water production, distribution, sanitary sewer collection, and stormwater systems; water meter reading and repairs when needed, fire hydrants, and utility locates. - Streets - Repairs, preventative maintenance, snow plowing, roadside trimming to prevent sightline obstruction, street sweeping, street signage, street and signal light maintenance. - Parks - Maintenance of the City's public open spaces including parks and cemeteries, City trails and sidewalks. - Forestry - Answering resident questions about trees, and managing growth of trees and brush in City parks and public property. - Compost - Maintaining the City's compost facility. - - Utilities: Water, sewer, garbage, and recycling - -
