Application Process

Program designed to meet the specific educational and employment needs of youth. Services include:
  • Education: Assists with obtaining a social security card, birth certificate, and/or state ID, application assistance for food stamps, Medical Assistance, or financial aid, advocating at school, connecting with GED tutors, and preparing for college applications. Financial assistance for obtaining vital documents is available.
  • Employment: Assists all youth with online job searches, applications, resumes, and practice interviewing. Providing work appropriate clothing, transportation in the form of bus passes and bus tokens to get to and from work and for interviews and Lyft/Uber for a job interview, and referrals to partner organizations to find other employment resources. YouthLink partners with HIRED/Goodwill Easter Seals.
