  • Fergus Falls Rental Rehabilitation Program: Landlords must rent to tenants who have low income (below 80% of the median income), promote fair housing in all advertising and leasing, and keep rents at or below Section 8 rental limits
  • MHFA Rehabilitation Loans: Low income homeowners

  • Sliding Scale/Reduced Fee
Fergus Falls Rental Rehabilitation Program:
  • Provides loans for dwellings with up to 5 units
  • Loans for single family units up to $15,000
  • Loans for 2 - 5 unit dwellings up to $10,000 per unit
  • Loan term maximum of 10 years at 3% interest
MHFA Rehabilitation Loans:
  • Loans given between $1,000 - $37,500 per homeowner
  • Maximum loan term of 15 years for dwellings taxed as real property
  • Must be the primary place of residence and a single-family home
  • All loans are forgiven if the borrower does not sell, transfer title, or cease to occupy the property during the loan term
