Minnesota Supplemental Aid - MSA - Carlton County Public Health and Human Services - Financial Assistance Division

Provides a monthly cash grant to people who are aged, blind or disabled and who receive federal Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits. Some persons whose income is too high to receive SSI may be eligible for MSA. NOTE: Most MSA-eligible applicants also receive or are eligible to receive SSI, and/or RSDI. Applications for SSI/RSDI are handled through the local Social Security office. MSA-eligible applicants may also be eligible for the Medicare Savings Programs.

- 8 am - 4 pm Monday - Friday - Walk in: 10 am - 2 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday; 12:30 pm - 2 pm Thursday; walk-ins are welcome on Fridays when there is an emergency situation
