A referral service for Japan-related resources and information, available through a database, library, and staff located at the office. - Tsushin: Monthly newsletter with articles or events and activities of interest to members, and a calendar of Japan-related cultural, business, educational, and public affairs programs and events. - Community outreach programs include a cultural program for schools known as "Japan in a Suitcase" and a dance and music program known as "Minnesota Bon Odori Project". JASM organizes the J-Quiz: Upper Midwest High School Japanese Language and Culture Competition. - Programs for members, both private and corporate, bring people together to celebrate Japan related events and promote understanding of Japan through cultural, business, and educational programming.
