Child Support Enforcement Division - CSED - Scott County Health and Human Services
The Child Support Division assists with: - Locating parents - Establishing paternity - Establishing and enforcing court orders for child support, medical support, and child care support - Reviewing and modifying court orders for support - Adjusting court orders based on the cost-of-living index - Working with other states to enforce support when one parent does not live in Minnesota - Collecting and processing payments through income withholding Minnesota Child Support Online: www.childsupport.dhs.state.mn.us. Minnesota Child Support Online is an interactive web site developed by the State of Minnesota to provide child support participants with information about their case(s). Child Support services are offered through Minnesota counties. Either parent, with or without custody of their children, may receivethese services. Families not receiving public assistance must apply for services by completing a Non-Public Assistance application. NOTE: Families receiving MFIP, medical assistance, and child care assistanceautomatically have an open child support case. Families must cooperate withchild support efforts to continue receiving benefits. County child supportoffices use a variety of tools to set and collect support.
