Northeast Child Development Center - East Side Neighborhood Services

Provides early education and enrichment activities that promote growth and development while preparing children for kindergarten. Parents receive ongoing support and information from teachers regarding developmental milestones and achievements, health and safety, nutrition and exercise, kindergarten preparation and more. Provides individualized attention in addressing challenging behaviors in children. Early developmental screenings and occupational, physical and speech therapy services are available on-site.

Application process

Call for appointment and application; parent will meet with program staff and tour the program. Paperwork will be given to the parent for completion. Walk in inquiries welcome.

Fee

Rates: - Infants: $410 week - Toddlers: $330 week - Preschool: $310 week - Registration fee: $300 non refundable - Families receiving county funding must present proof of authorization for childcare - Late fees also apply

DHS Rule 3 enrollment packet including immunization record; physical for each child; emergency contacts (including doctor and dentist); income information; subsidy authorization

Children in need of child care and early childhood education ages 6 weeks to 5 years; primarily serves Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, and Washington counties

Administers a broad range of community based social services including: childcare (infants, toddlers, and preschool), summer camp, out-of-school time programs, an alternative high school, employment services for all ages, therapy services including creative arts therapy and a family healing program, food shelves across Hennepin County, transportation services, and classes for older adults including fitness and caregiving support. Also provides facility rental for meetings and events.
