Service area

Description

Day Treatment is a 9 - 12 month, full-day, Monday - Friday program consistent with school holidays. Part of each day is devoted to an academic curriculum coordinated through Intermediate District 287 Headway Academy; and part to emotional health. Emotional health programming is through a path-based curriculum geared to enhance self-esteem and build social and coping skills, and includes process-oriented groups. In addition to groups this program offers weekly individual therapy, family therapy at least every other week, diagnostic assessments, goal setting and treatment planning, and psychological testing.
