Helps place children into permanent adoptive homes. Involves working with the Minnesota Adoption Exchange/Waiting Children's Program, completing required adoption and foster care home studies, and connecting prospective parents with children in need of adoption. Also offers information and referrals to private adoption agencies, assistance with step-parent adoptions (including background clearances), and post-adoption services such as helping adoptees or birth parents find information about their adoption.
