Eligibility

Certain non-citizens who are considered refugees, who have been in Renville County 8 months or less that meet income, household composition, and circumstantial eligibility requirements

Required documents

Application/registration form identification for each family member proof of address proof of household income proof of immigration status (I-94) verification of assets

Refugee Cash Assistance provides temporary financial assistance for refugees and eligible entrants while they are in the process of resettling in the United States. NOTE: Able-bodied RCA recipients are required to participate in an employment and training program. RCA recipients who are disabled or 65 years of age or older are required to apply for SSI.
