Emergency Cash Assistance (ECA) - Dakota County Employment and Economic Assistance

- Maximum grant for assistance is $750 within a 12-month period. Assistance may include utilities, transportation expenses, and occasionally prescription drugs. - Financial assistance is given in the form of a check the majority of the time. Gift cards are given for food and gas. - Financial assistance is provided based on availability of funding. Dakota County receives new funding each month to be used in a one month period.
