Serves residents of Hennepin County who meet income requirements; households up to 300% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. Most types of cases must be referred from the Housing Court Project clinic or Legal Aid.
All documents pertaining to legal issue including any paperwork received concerning the case and the names, phone numbers and addresses of all persons involved. Preparing a written summary of the legal situation will also make the most of the time available with the attorney.

Services provided range from free legal advice to free full representation, depending on eligibility and issue type. VLN does not handle any cases in which an attorney may recover fees, including contingency fees, business transactions, business litigation, employment discrimination, government benefits, wills and probate, workers' compensation, or criminal matters.
