Description

Provides law enforcement for residents of Saint Peter Criminal investigation - Coordinating all investigations, crime scenes, and the prosecution of felony level crimes; - Investigation of all major crimes, misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors, and vulnerable adult - Responsible for all law enforcement investigative activities and reporting Communications - Emergency and non-emergency telephone/radio calls Community Service - Animal Control: Assist residents with animal licensing and wild animal traping and relocating - Child Passenger Safety Seat Inspections - Code enforcement: Responds to nuisance complaints including unregistered or inoperable vehicles, discarded furniture and appliances - Conducts residential "vacation" surveys - Public information: Bicycle education and enforcement Patrol - Enforcement of law and ordinances - Maintenance of order - Prevention, detection, and investigation of criminal acts within the city - Protection of life and property
