Responsible for calculating, collecting, and distributing taxes for the county, cities, township, and school districts. Also, it calculates the county payroll and employee benefits, administers and maintains the election system, and issues transient merchant, auctioneer, and liquor licenses. Also mandates beaver and gopher control.
